After over a decade working to make the UW campus, Madison, and Wisconsin better,
I’m now running to work for you, District 1.
About
I’m Colin, your downtown neighbor. I’ve been doing public service in downtown Madison for the past 12 years. As your board member I will provide excellent representation and service to all our downtown neighbors by promoting our proud progressive values. I’m running to continue working hard for you!
More information about my background:
I work a for Democratic state senator, pushing back against vindictive Republican policies and pursuing a progressive majority in our state government.
I worked at a state agency where I helped doctors join the front line response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
I was appointed by Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway to the Madison Alcohol License Review Committee where I stand up for small businesses and look out for the health, safety, and wellbeing of our community.
I am the Vice chair of Capitol Neighborhoods, Inc where I serve neighbors and connect them to their communities and their government.
I am a Vice Chair of the Democratic Party of Dane County where I work to elect Democrats to the state legislature and progressives to the Supreme Court. I knocked thousands of doors, putting us within striking distance of a state Senate majority, which will be crucial to advancing progressive values on the local level.
I am a member of the Urban League of Greater Madison Young Professionals, where I’ve guided community members on voting and political advocacy.
I’m a former finance chair of the Associated Students of Madison. I led the successful transition from expensive course management systems to a single system, Canvas, easing costs for students.
